I’ve been in the field of Social Work for twenty two years and a Psychotherapist for eighteen years. I’ve had the privilege of attending trainings all over the country focusing on trauma, depression, anxiety and their related health issues, however all of the professional qualifications in the world could not have taught me what I have learned as a spouse and a mother. My thirty three year marriage and two grown children have challenged me at times, but it is these same relationships that have been the most rewarding.

I believe it is vital for each of us to learn what works to de-stress our own lives.  For me there are a few things I can usually rely on: yoga, walking my dog, dinner with friends and family, kayaking and reading a good book.  These things I do for me.  I love helping my clients discover what will work for them.
